‘Sun Children’ has been shortlisted for 2021 Oscars.

The movie had its premiere during the 38th Fajr Film Festival in Tehran last February, garnering the Crystal Simorghs for best film, script and set design.

If chosen by the academy as the winner, Sun Children will be the second Academy Award winning movie that Alzahra Studio has collaborated on. ‘The Salesman’ directed by Asghar Farhadi won the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards.
