Sun Children was premiered first at the 38th Fajr Film Festival and took home three Crystal Simorghs for Best Film, Best Screenplay and Best Set Design. Sun Children was also screened at the 77th Venice International Film Festival where junior actor Rouhollah Zamani won the Marcello Mastroianni Award.

Alzahra Studio provided extensive VFX for “Sun Children” including set extensions, and creating a 3D model of a shrine which is one of the main locations of the movie.
